Built by plant people, for plant people

Leafy AI helps plant owners stay consistent — with care routines, reminders, instant plant ID, and AI voice and video help when something looks off.

devomad — indie apps since 2017

devomad is the independent studio behind Leafy. I started publishing Android apps in 2017 under that name, focusing on polished, useful software people actually open every day — not throwaway utilities.

Before going all-in on products, I spent time in enterprise engineering at JPMorgan Chase, where I learned how to ship reliable software at scale, work with complex systems, and care about quality and security.

When modern AI became practical for real-time voice, vision, and helpful dialogue, it was a natural fit for the problems plant owners face — identification, diagnosis, and calm guidance in the moment. Leafy is the product of that shift: a dedicated gardening assistant that combines those ideas with a product roadmap we are actively scaling.

Leafy is built with Daniil Kuzjomin (Tallinn, Estonia) and a small network of collaborators who care as much about craft as about chlorophyll.
